Dialogue

1. “My last voyages have not proven fortunate” Gulliver sighed “I’ve grown weary of the sea, I want to stay home now with my family, I don’t see enough of them”. “I moved from the Old Jury to Fetter Lane and from there to Wapping” he gestured to the inn keep. “I was hoping to get business among the sailors, but I could turn nothing to account”. He sighed. “After three years of expecting things to get better I eventually accepted an offer from Captain William Prichard, master of the… I forget the name”.
“What sort an offer” the inn keep questioned in his gruff murmur.
“A voyage into the south sea” replied Gulliver, “We set sail from bristol on the 4th, I think this could be a more successful venture than some of my previous voyages”.

2. “But here, here is an artist!” The man exclaimed with joy
“He will paint you the dreamiest, shadiest, quietest, most enchanting bit of romantic landscape in all the valley of the Saco!” He danced across the room, his words full of excitement and joy. “There stands his trees, each with a hollow trunk, as if a hermit and a crucifix were within; here sleeps his meadow and here sleeps his cattle!” He lifted his arms “And up over yonder cottage cimbs sleepy smoke.”
